Marina Sneider

Marina Sneider is a music therapist, singer-songwriter, producer, and multi-instrumentalist from New York. She earned her Master's degree in Music Therapy from New York University. She is passionate about helping neurodivergent individuals of all ages find confidence and connection through music and works from a client-centered, strengths-based approach.

Marina has provided music therapy services in a variety of clinical and educational settings, supporting neurodivergent children, autistic individuals, and veterans. She completed her clinical internship at the Rebecca School, a special education school in Manhattan specializing in Stanley Greenspan's DIRFloortime® approach for students with autism. She also completed clinical fieldwork with neurodivergent children at Dream Big Together in Bayside, Queens, as well as with veterans at the Margaret Cochran Corbin VA Medical Center in Manhattan.

In addition to her clinical training, Marina has worked with young musicians through summer music programs at Hoff-Barthelson Music School and the Music Conservatory of Westchester, where she taught piano lessons to beginning students and supported children in developing confidence and creativity through music.

Beyond her work as a therapist and educator, she has an extensive background in songwriting, composition for television and commercial media, music production, and live performance.

Ms. Marina is proud to be part of the Hug Music team and enjoys supporting students and families through meaningful musical experiences.
